During his trial, Although Pistorius was found not guilty of 2 firearm charges, he was sentenced to a maximum of five years in prison. Judge Masip ruled culpa homicide. After serving only a few months in prison, Pistorius is currently under house arrest. Pistorius is barred from Para Olympics until 2019. He won’t be competing in Rio this year.
